ICAI CA Result 2024 Announced:
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the results for the CA Foundation and Intermediate exams held in September 2024. Candidates who took these exams can now view and download their results from the official ICAI website at icai.nic.in.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will announce the CA Foundation and Intermediate exam results for September 2024 on October 30, 2024. Students who took these exams can check their results on the ICAI's official website using their login details. This was the first time these exams were held in September. The CA Foundation exams took place on September 13, 15, 18, and 20, while the CA Intermediate exams were split into two groups: Group 1 on September 12, 14, and 17, and Group 2 on September 19, 21, and 23.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is expected to release the CA Foundation and CA Intermediate results for the September exams today, October 30. Once the results are out, students can check them on the ICAI website at icai.nic.in. Last week, the ICAI announced this possible result date.
To view their results, candidates will need to enter their roll numbers and registration numbers.
How to check ICAI CA Foundation and Intermediate Results 2024
To check your CA Foundation and Intermediate exam results, follow these steps:
1. Go to the ICAI result portal at icai.nic.in.
2. Click on the link for either the Foundation or Intermediate results, depending on what you need.
3. Enter your roll number and registration number.
4. Please click submit to see your result.
The ICAI has released the schedule for the upcoming CA exams. The Foundation Course exams will be held on January 12, 14, 16, and 18, 2025. For the Intermediate Course, Group I exams are scheduled for January 11, 13, and 15, while Group II exams take place on January 17, 19, and 21.
Criteria for Passing CA Foundation:
To pass the CA Foundation exam, candidates must score at least 40 marks in each subject and achieve an overall average of 50% across all subjects.
ICAI CA Foundation June 2024 Results
In the June 2024 CA Foundation exam, 91,900 candidates appeared, with 13,749 successfully passing, resulting in an overall pass rate of 14.96%. Among the 48,580 male candidates, 7,766 passed, giving them a pass rate of 15.66%. For the 42,320 female candidates, 5,983 passed, resulting in a pass rate of 14.14%.
CA Intermediate and Foundation Exams Now Held Twice a Year
The ICAI has updated the schedule for CA Intermediate and Foundation exams, which will now be conducted three times a year—in May/June, September, and January—starting from June 2024. This is a change from the previous twice-a-year schedule. However, CA Final exams will still take place only twice a year, in May and November.
