Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal and wife Grecia Munoz become delivery agents for a day, delighting customers with personal service and genuine interaction.
Zomato's CEO, Deepinder Goyal, recently did something pretty cool: he spent a day working as a food delivery agent. Instead of his usual business suit, he wore a delivery uniform and hit the streets to see what his employees go through every day. He even had his wife, Grecia Munoz, join him on a delivery bike. They made stops to drop off food orders and chat with customers. It was a unique way for him to understand the challenges and successes that come with the job!
Sharing this experience on Instagram, Mr Goyal wrote, "Went out to deliver orders a couple of days ago, teaming up with Grecia Munoz." The accompanying photos depict various moments from their day out as delivery agents, including the couple riding together, looking at their mobile phones, presumably to find delivery locations, and interacting with customers along the way.
Customer feedback from Goyal’s deliverieshas been really positive! One memorable stop was at the office of a fashion brand called Ala Mode By Akanksha. They shared a post on their official Instagram account, @a.la.modebyakanksha, featuring Goyal with one of their employees. The caption read: “Learn from the boss himself how to do it right! @deepigoyal at the @a.la.modebyakanksha office, personally delivering an order. His hustle, humility, and hands-on approach show what true leadership and entrepreneurship is all about. It was an honor to witness it firsthand.
